No scrolling in IE6

My girls football team website:

http://broughtongirlsfooty.co.uk

works fine in all browsers except IE6.

It works OK in IE8.

In IE6 it doesn't scroll and the header is misaligned.

Can anyone suggest a fix? - I see that some people have used conditional css to correct problems like this.

Alternatively, I would like to find a script that will auto detect the browser and if it's IE6, generate a pop message telling the viewer to get a proper browser!!

Try the 'No More IE6' plugin to let people know to upgrade

I agree with kalda... IE6 is dead. Way too buggy. That plugin works great by the way.

I can confirm the plug in does work on IE6 (and IE5).

Here's a screenshot of the message people get if they try to open my site in IE6:
