I haven't touch the code for the slideshow or anything, just simply working with my posts and suddenly the slideshow is not working :O( does anyone know why?

This may be a bug of the theme .So many guys get problems with it,me too.
Maybe just because the serverstaion for your blog don't support GD liburary.
