Topic: difference between arras and classical gamer

Is there any difference between arras and classical gamer? I know its a child theme but does that means that I need to have both installed?

Yes, both need to be installed.  The child theme (classical) still pulls settings from the parent (arras) theme.  With classical gamer you get the different slideshow look as well as the carousel.  But there are only two color options with classical (black and white).
