how can I add authors pic? where is it located. I can't see any option from admin panel to upload images that would display on the authors profile.
Please help.

You want to click on Users form the dashboard. Then select your profile, and from there you can scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can upload an image.
Check Users >> Avatars and make sure avatars are enabled
It appears your using gravatars. You will have to go to gravatar.com and upload an image using the associated email.
