Have you thought about using Gantry framework to control the Arras theme (http://www.gantry-framework.org/)? Think Arras theme would look amazing with this framework! Not that Arras doesn´t look amazing already, Gantry just has a nice layout, it would be interesting to see it in a wordpress theme
