Topic: Better handling of custom post types

Hi

I've ran in to a couple of things when using the custom post types functions in the theme.

A couple of things I would like to have changed;

  • The "Posted in" is displayed, but empty, when the custom post type doesn't support categories. Either it shouldn't be displayed at all, or you should be able to choose which taxonomy it uses (if you'd like to show another one, as I do)

  • The displaying of "Comments closed" on posts in post types where comments aren't supported feels somewhat obsolete.

Great work with the theme! It's top notch, and I'm always excited to see what news there is in the new releases.

I'd bypass all of that with simply using a different template for posts from a different post type.
