If I am using a cpanel do I go through that or my wordpress account?

did you get the arras theme uploaded in the end, with solid resolution?

I have uploaded Arras v. 1.5.1.1, which is very pleasing -- except that single post thumbnails seem to have gone missing.  I have worked again and again with Theme Options, each time regenerating thumbnails.  I have been careful to reset the size for single post thumbnails to what I was using in previous versions of Arras.  All to no avail.  sad

Do single post thumbnails still exist in this new version?

If so, how does one reactivate them, whether for new or previous posts?

1.5.1 on super chef is up and running.  menus switched back on (we had problems in 1.4.x), and the new (?) thumbnail system is lovely.  paid the piper (donation) for his theme-developing troubles.  amazing.

only thing we're missing is how to get large thumbnails in posts to appear again.  reset image size to what was there previously, regenerated thumbnails, etc.:  nada  sad

friends and colleagues,

is it safe to say that upgrading to wordpress 3.2 renders arras-theme nearly inoperable due to fatal errors?

for super chef, i could not get the template.php to fix any problems, so i tried using older versions -- and all of those caused fatal errors, thanks to wordpress 3.2.

shall zy then just post a major warning to all (registered) arras-theme users _not_ to upgrade to wordpress 3.2 until he has had a chance to fix the fatal errors in arras-them which 3.2 causes?

further, is there any real fix for those of us already stuck with wordpress 3.2?  most simply, i would happily go back to wordpress 3.1 -- if only i know how.  (do any of you?)

i do not understand how "upgrade" works outside of a normal, automatic upgrade from inside wordpress software.  i keep seeing messages here that say "update the theme" by deleting the previous version.  but if we update the theme, does that not wipe out the content of the site:  all the posts, the images, the layout?  please advise -- help!

on super chef, we were using the last automated upgrade (1.3.x?  1.4.x?  it's been so long) and updated wordpress to 3.2.  we got a fatal error immediately and so added the "template.php" file as advised.  now we get a new message:  "Fatal error: Call to undefined function arras_get_sidebar_thumb_size() in /home/content/f/o/r/forbie1/html/wp-content/themes/arras-theme/library/launcher.php on line 15"  is that because the version of arras theme was so old that the new template.php file would not work?  or do we _have_ to upgrade to arras 1.5.1 for the PHP file to work?

and a third item:  why not just call up our web hosts and have them install wordpress version 3.0 over 3.2?  won't that fix the original problem?

thanks, it's back up!

You should delete the existing Arras folder and upload the new one.  Overwriting it might cause some trouble because I'm not sure which files were changed in this update, so the best option is to just delete the old and upload the new.

How does one update to a new version of a(n) (Arras) theme when automatic update is unavailable, please?

What might cause the following message? :

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/f/o/r/[user]/html/wp-content/plugins/add-to-any/services.php:2) in /home/content/f/o/r/[user]/html/wp-includes/classes.php on line 1601

How does one fix this problem, please?

(The only guess I have as to why this error is occurring is that accidentally we deleted a contributor, who had several articles -- also deleted.  Could this be "confusing" the headers?)

(Using Arras theme version 1.4.3.1)

Did you ever receive help?

I just received a similar error message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/f/o/r/[user]/html/wp-content/plugins/add-to-any/services.php:2) in /home/content/f/o/r/[user]/html/wp-includes/classes.php on line 1601

No help to lend, I'm sorry -- just similar report:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/f/o/r/[user]/html/wp-content/plugins/add-to-any/services.php:2) in /home/content/f/o/r/[user]/html/wp-includes/classes.php on line 1601

Did a bit of frantic trial-and-error testing last night...  Looks like there is a lot more to play with here.   cool

Many thanks for your kind reply.  I've seen your many messages to others--much appreciated.

Just updated both Word Press 3.0.1 and Arras Theme 1.4.3.1

Wha happa?

Super Chef
http://www.superchefblog.com/

Had a nice, three-column theme, slideshow at top, then 3 rows of two photo boxes ("nodes"?), then text titles...

Cleared old thumbnails, then regenerated thumbnails...

Help!  (Please)
