is this on the theme options thing on wordpress? i assigned all categories.
I think it has got to do with the structure of your permalinks in a bizarre way.

The index.php is giving the trouble. At least that's what I think is the problem.

what do you advise i change my permalinks to resolve the problem?
You could try it yes. Reset them to standard and see what it does.
i changed it to standard, but to no avail....my index.php is empty - should it be?

yes. none at all. is it meant to be?
Well, no. Download arras again and replace the index.php
i resolved the problem. it was a page i had featuring on the homepage, but would never have spotted it if i hadn't changed themes before i downloaded arras again, so thank you very much!!
