Topic: Map/Cartography themed Arras Site

I've found the Arras theme pretty wonderful to work with.  My learning curve with web stuff is steep; but I was pleased with how forgiving the theme has been.

I've just published a mapping/cartography-related blog.  I'm far from any kind of great designer, so I'm very interested in whatever changes or tweaks might be suggested.

I know that my content is strong; but I'm not totally in love with any single aspect of this design or layout -- anything is fair game to alter, amend, abrogate, expand, condense... whatever.  I'd love to know your opinions on how it could be tweaked; from the very simple to the very ambitious.

...and thanks for all the wisdom I've picked up from these forums.  They've been a huge help.

Thumbs up

Hi there
Great desing you have made with the Arras theme. I works perfect for all your maps I think.
You have a litte issue with your Top logo. It seems a little to big to fit, but otherwise it is great work you have done.. :-)

Oh, that was intended to be sort of a visual pun (the word "BIG" being itself too large to be contained by the frame).  I can see, though, how the image as it was might have been ambiguous and might not've lent itself to the reading I was hoping to put across.  Thanks for calling that to my attention.

I tweaked it a bit to hopefully make it more obvious.  How'd I do?  (Before and after pics: http://i.imgur.com/HsgRn.png.)
