I'm still trying to source out the problem for this. My development version does not have the issue.
As I mentioned in Twitter, there are still some bugs flying around, but I hope this is a more stable beta for people to test out
Can I select two category to view in the News Posts ?
I select a single category to view the News Posts and does not work. This feature is buggy, View all categories.
Any help ?

it would be very good to have more categories for the posts on the first page,
I mean n posts from the category 1, n post from catogery 2 etc.
Is that possible?

Still having issues in which the selected categories are not displaying properly on the front page. News still shows all categories, regardless of selection. Featured #1 and #2 show the first category I selected and cannot be altered.
Is there a cache somewhere I don't know about?
Nice improvement.
But when I select as a main menu lots os categories it does not create another navibar, making it two. It just stay as one, and the latests categories went loose at the layout.
I also have problems when trying to select certain categories in the Featured options. I choose a 'Featured' category in the drop down menu but it still continues to show the latest three articles even though they are not in that category.
Also with the 'default.css' style it is hard to see any links in the text. There is no underline and the link text is the same colour as the text. Would it be possible to return to the underlined text as in v1.4.1 or have the link text as a different colour. This is not a problem for the other styles as they have different colours for the links.
I have attached the patched file for the featured posts issue.
Simply rename the attached file to template.php and overwrite /library/template.php.
This fixed the problem with Featured #2, but the news section still shows all categories rather than one. Other than this issue, pretty much perfect, near as I can tell. I love the column options in the footer and the different color options.

Is this version supporting the current CG child theme version and does the "post thumnail" function (changed from WP 2.9 to WP 3.0) work there without hacking into the code of any of the theme files?
1. No.
2. The WP Thumbnail function worked from 1.4 without having to 'hack' anything.
What happened between 2.9 and 3.0 exactly by the way apart from renaming 'post thumbnail' to 'featured image' in WP?

I have used your project which is very good.But there is still a small problem that in Featured Posts #1 I have selected one categoriy but it still shows all the categories. I wish next version will solve the problem.

I'´d like to give a sugestion:
It would be great if at any post an embeed vídeo would become automatically a tuhmbnail.
The video could be at the top of the post, and the post should have no image.

I also get the 404 error when viewing the images. @Zy do you have a set time on when you will be releasing Arras Theme 1.5? By the way you ROCK!
