Topic: Health & Fitness Blog

First, I wanted to thank Arras for this great theme.

I'm using the older version since it looks better, 3.? something...

Plugins that I highly recommend:

1.  Dynamic Headers - easy way to make custom banner
2. Multi-level navigation plugin
3. Sociable for social networking posts
4. Page-navi
5. Subscription options.

What specific problem are you having with it?  It's one of the few things that worked seamlessly for me.

Great job! Your site looks fabulous!

I had a quick question for you as well. How did you set up the following navigation bar and move your search bar up to this nav. bar as well? (Picture provided below)

1.  I just did this did this with an on-line HTML editor.  I found some free social media logos and made links to them.  For the feedburner, I just added the Feedburner code, but modified it a bit.
2.  That's easier.  The left fixed social media bar is from the Digg Digg plugin for WordPress. It's free.
3.  I used the section widget plugin for WordPress.  Then I used the Category shortcode and RSS shortcode plugin.  I had to edit the style.css file to get the layout to work properly.  It's a bit complicated to do this if you're not familiar with editing .css.

Thanks for your feedback on the site!

you're not using Arras Theme anymore though, right?

Got screenshots of how it used to look?

Re: Health & Fitness Blog

Very professional and well organized. Presentation is becoming increasingly important with visitors. Multi-nav seems to be a common problem with a lot of blogs (I remember from when I setup my wordpress blog). Glad to see you got everything working.

Hi jmorrow

First of all,I congratulate you for having a nice site about Health which is Wealth. The suggestions on Nutrition, weight loss and Asthma are very informative. I feel weight loss is one of the common problem faced by many people in the world today. The best way to fight obesity is to stick to a program that will enable you not only to lose weight but maintain it in the long run.

Re: Health & Fitness Blog

I have not heard of Arras theme until today and I must say it looks really nice. So far I've always been buying expensive premium wp themes but the free theme from arras looks really nice.

I looked at JMorrow's site and love the navigational bars. Quite similar to my xsitePro2 site feature for sub-page.

Re: Health & Fitness Blog

It`s estimated that between 10 and 20% of people over the age of 65 suffer from mild cognitive impairment or have been diagnosed with Alzheimer`s disease. By the age of 80 more than half have some loss of memory or functional decline and the trend continues to escalate as the number of baby boomers turn senior citizen explodes. Forward thinking nutritional researchers believe that some of the blame for this trend can be placed firmly on the fat-phobic diet pushed by many physicians and dieticians for the past half century that deprives delicate brain cells of essential nutrients. It`s important to include a healthy source of serine and choline; these nutrients nourish the brain and improve memory and mental cognition to prevent brain aging.
