Topic: problem with meta descriptions

i'm having a problem with my meta descriptions. the meta descriptions for all my pages and posts are being overridden by the tagline as set in general settings. ??? everything is set up properly in the all in one seo plug-in, but it doesn't appear. instead the tagline appears. any ideas what could be causing my problem?

i removed the following from the template.php and it solved the problem...


echo '<meta name="description" content="' . get_bloginfo('description') . '" />';
