Why add content on my home page ?

Hello, I use the arras theme in recent months and would like to customize just the home page. I would like see other categories to bring more content to my homepage. Theme of the options I can display only two contents.

different thumbnail sizes on different categories?

hi there!

I would like to have different thumbnail sizes on different categories. At the moment I have 115px - 115px for the thumbnails, but for one category, I would like to have 600px width and any height.

can you help me?

מצורפים קבצי ה-po וה-mo עבור תרגום לעברית.
התרגום מלא עבור הצד הקדמי של האתר, וחלקי עבור מסך האפשרויות.

עד כמה שבדקתי, התבנית עצמה לא דורשת התאמות נוספות עבור תמיכה בכתיבה מימין לשמאל ומכילה בקבצים המקוריים שלה תמיכה ב-RTL.

התקנה
1. יש להוריד את קובץ הזיפ המצורף

Ho visto che alcuni blog hanno uno slideshow diverso, come si fa a cambiarlo? Basta disattivare quello del tema e installare uno dei avri plugin x wordpress?

I have seen that can possible change the slideshow of homepage, How can I do? off the default and install a plugin? which plugin is best?

Hi there,

i hope somebody can help me. I want to add a new slideshow (frontpage Slideshow) to my arras theme at filmtogo.net. So i think i have to remove the slideshow who is a part of the theme to integrate the new one.

can somebody tell me how to do that? what do i have to change where in the html code?

Buddypress is messing up the arras's top nav bar

I just installed buddypress on my site and the buddypress compatibility theme pack, after that the theme is showing distortion of the top nav bar u can check it at narutoparadise.com.

Please can you help me. I run http://theappwhisperer.com and I have installed the WP125 widget to host some banner ads. I want to run two 125x125 banners next to each other and there isn't enough width to display them. Is there a way I can increase the right hand column to incorporate this please?

I am not a web programmer or anything like that so please keep it as simple as possible. If you suggest that I update the User ccs section - can you please tell me exactly what I should type in there please. I seriously do not want my whole site going down.

Adding new widget space. Would like to have a showcase widget.

I'm wondering if anybody can help me figure out how to add a new widget area as there are only sidebar and footer spaces available by default within the theme. I'd like to be able to add a showcase widget to my site. I've tried adding above_content fuctions but my understanding of PHP is a bit limited.

Anybody with experience able to help me with this?

I should also mention that I'm using a static page as the frontpage not blog posts.

Please help!!!

Twitter sidebar widget

I have a problem dealing with the Twitter sidebar. Of course it is easy to get the code from Twitter but it is hard to include this to my websites sidebar. I need to edit the sidebar template of my WordPress theme but that causes an error. It seems to be a MySQL one. Do you know how I can add such a sidebar like I found on this website?
