It depends, usually the less customized theme or plugin you have, the less problem you are facing.

   2. It will support existing v2.5 plugins?
Check with your plugins authors to get the latest version.

   3. It will support my custom themes? Or do I have to design them from scratch for 3.0?
A lot of the theme of 2.x won't work for the menu options in 3.x

Why would you only update to 3.0? Wordpress is currently at 3.2.1 and many of the updates contain security fixes that protect your site from intrusions.

I'm looking to upgrade my site from Wordpress 2.5 to 3.0 RC, and my question is:

   1. (Wordpress 2.5 to 3.0 RC) It is stable?
   2. It will support existing v2.5 plugins?

So I use my categories as menus in the nav bar. This isn't ideal but seems to serve me well. However, I seem to have maxed out the number of categories I can use in the nav bar.

So I have created a custom menu in the custom menus section but HOW ON EARTH DO I CHOOSE IT AS THE MENU I WANT???!!!

When I go to the theme options I have only the choice of 3 things as my menu: pages, categories and link categories.

It's doing my head in, what am I doing wrong? Someone please help ASAP!!!!

I have the menu working in WP3.0 via Appearance - Menus but when i set a page to have a parent it no longer shows up under that parent in the menu bar.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Or even a rough idea, i'm lost at the moment.

Oh I get it! - it took me an hour to work that out. You physically pick up the custom/category/page menu bar up by click and hold, slide it to the right slightly and let go. Brilliant - I'd add it somewhere for thick people.

I have a question regarding the behavior of the menus, hoping someone can advise.

Using Arras  1.5.0.1, WP 3.1.1

I have created the menus no problem but when you hover over the top level of the menu the sub menus drop down one level and then opens horizontally to the right.

I want it to simply drop straight down the page which is what others have mentioned is the default but I have made no changes and mine defaults like this.

Any help greatly appreciated....
